Ansar man’s body recovered in capital
Body of an Ansar member was recovered from a drain at Kamlapur in the capital early Thursday.
The deceased, Imdadul Haque, 20, son of Riaz Uddin hailed from Haluaghat upazila of Mymensingh. He was a student of Shahid Smriti Degree College in the district.
Imdadul’s body was found lying around 4:00am in a drain near a godown at Kamlapur railway station, his colleagues said.
The victims attended his duty from 8:00pm to 2:00am, they said.
His body was sent to the Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) morgue for autopsy.
DMCH morgue sources said he might be strangled to death.
Miscreants might have killed him over robbery as the gate of the godown and almarih were found open when Imdadul’s body was found, said Shahjahanpur police station sources.
