2 arson victims die at DMCH
Two persons, who were burnt in a petrol bomb attack at Shahbagh in the capital on Friday, died at Dhaka Medical College and Hospital today.
Shahina Akter, 42, succumbed to his injuries at ICU of the burn unit around 1:45am while fruit trader Farid Miah at 9:50am, DMCH sources said.
Three passengers including Shahina and Farid sustained critical injuries when miscreants hurled a petrol bomb on a bus in front of Ruposhi Bangla Hotel.
Shahina, an insurance worker, and Farid, a fruit trader, were whisked off to the hospital with 64 and 48 percent burn injuries.
Another victim Mohammad Babul Howlader, the bus driver, received eight percent body burns.
