Turkey's policy hostile, working with Egypt: Macron
Terming Turkey's policy as "hostile", French President Emmanuel Macron has said he is working with Egypt to stabilise the tensions in the Mediterranean.
Macron announced the decision yesterday amid a recent rift between him and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
Macron is scheduled to hold a meeting with Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fattah al Sisi in order to discuss a number of regional crises, especially tensions in the Mediterranean, Al Arabiya reported quoting French Presidency.
The French Presidency, quoting Macron, said that Turkey's policy in the region is hostile. "We are working with Egypt to stabilise the Mediterranean," Macron said.
On the Libyan crisis, France is also talking with all Libyan parties to make the United Nations dialogue succeed. "We are working with Egypt to push forward the Libyan dialogue," he added.
