Woman hurt as rod from CDA building pierces through arm

A woman was injured yesterday as an iron rod, falling from an under-construction building of Chittagong Development Authority in Kazir Dewry area of the port city, pierced through her left arm.
Rokeya Begum, 45, a domestic help, were passing near by the building under Kazir Dewry Kanchabazar and Apartment Complex project. Rajib Das, the project director, said they were bearing all her treatment cost at the hospital.
