BAF training aircraft crashes in Ctg, none hurt
A training aircraft of Bangladesh Air Force crashed in Lohagara upazila of Chittagong this afternoon, said Inter Service Public Relations Directorate (ISPR).
Two pilots, who were on board, remained unhurt, ISPR said in a text message.
The aircraft crashed in Faridarghona area under Bara Hatia union around 2:30pm, our Chittagong correspondent reports quoting Md Shahjahan, officer-in-charge of Lohagara Police Station.
Soon after crash, the aircraft also caught fire, the police official said.
On information, police and fire fighters rushed to the spot and doused the fire, the OC said.
They also rescued the two pilots unhurt, he added.
