Azmeri Haque, popularly known as Badhon, is one of the most recognised faces in the Bangladeshi media. She started her television journey with the 'LUX Anondodhara Miss Photogenic 2006' contest. She then performed in many television commercials, followed by television dramas. She has worked on a film 'Nijhum Aranya'in 2010, directed by Mushfiqur Rahman Gulzar. Recently, she is very busy with her Eid shootings and anchoring. This week, the stunning personality spoke to the Star Weekend about her latest work, favourites and much more. 

How is your daughter?

She is well by the grace of Allah. She has just completed Play group at school, and is getting ready for Nursery. I am very excited! 

Your favourite midnight snack:

All types of sweets. 

Your latest work-

Basically, I am working on serials and regularly anchoring as well. 

Acting or Anchoring—which one do you prefer?

Though I prefer acting, I also enjoy anchoring to a great extent.  The three shows where I am playing the role of anchor are different from each other, according to the categories. I can talk to the celebrities, general people from different profession and chefs. Through anchoring, I can experience and learn so many things from different kinds of people, which I am very passionate about. 

How do you spend your free days?

I spend time with my daughter – travelling or watching children's movies.  We usually love to visit different parks as we love fresh air and the environment.

Your advice for the young aspiring actors-actresses or anchors:

No matter what you do, do it with honesty and hard work.
