Rabbi Hasan Munna won a silver medal in 10m air rifle event -- Bangladesh's first in the 4th Islamic Solidarity Games 2017 -- at Azerbaijan capital Baku on Saturday.
The 21-year-old shooter from Tangail finished with 245.5 points, 4.3 points behind gold medal winner Omer Akgun of Turkey in this event. Saidkhon Sayfuddinov of Uzbekistan won the bronze medal.
Bangladesh's other shooter, Commonwealth Games silver medallist Abdullahel Baki, had to settle for fifth position in this event.
Rabbi had qualified for the eight-man final round in second position, 0.9 points behind the eventual champion while Baki was in sixth position in qualifying.
