Hornets clinch a thriller

Hornets SC notched a thrilling victory against Rangers Club in the UniMed UniHealth Premier Division Basketball Championship at the Dhanmondi Indoor Basketball Gymnasium yesterday.

Hornets edged Rangers by 43-42 points despite trailing by 16-22 points after the first half. Mehedi scored highest 22 points for Hornets while Lincoln caged 21 points for Rangers.

Meanwhile, Dhaka Gladiators thrashed Old DOHS by 88-31 points, with Sajib contributing with 34 points for the winners.

In the other match of the day, The Gregarious Club outplayed The Greggs Club by 100-53 points, after leading the first half by 46-27 points. Mithun scored highest for The Gregarious with 26 points.
