Booters beat Cambodia to bag first win under Cabrera

Bangladesh men's football team edged past Cambodia in a FIFA-sanctioned friendly at the Morodok Techno National Stadium in the Cambodian capital of Phnom Penh today.
A 23-minute strike from midfielder Rakib Hossain earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory for the men in red and green.
And the result means that apart from extending their unbeaten streak against Cambodia, Jamal Bhuiyan and Co have achieved their maiden victory under their Spanish coach Javier Cabrera after seven outings.
So far, Bangladesh have won four times and drew once in five meetings against Cambodia, who are 18 places ahead of Bangladesh in FIFA Rankings.
The next challenge for Cabrera's charges awaits in Nepal where they will play a FIFA friendly against the Himalayan nation on September 27.
