HANKS PULLS A FAST ONE

Hollywood actor Tom Hanks has proven to be quite convincing when he takes on any role. However, Hanks is not fooling anyone with his latest performance – claiming that he put £100 bet on Leicester at the start of the season. The 59 year old actor is a big fan of Aston Villa and has been left devastated by their recent relegation, but he says he is quite pleased because he put big money on the Foxes to be crowned champions at the start of the season. "You know what I did at the beginning of the season? Put a hundred quid on Leicester so I think I'll do okay." When challenged on this claim, he replied: "Maybe I did, maybe I didn't."      –Agencies
