A team fly sans Streak
Bangladesh A team left for Bangalore yesterday morning without coach Heath Streak and physiotherapist Brett Harrop.
Zimbabwean Streak and Australian Harrop failed to fly with the team due to visa complications. But they are expected to receive their respective visas today and will join the team on Wednesday afternoon, confirmed a BCB official.
Streak is set to miss tomorrow's first match. In his absence, assistant coach Zafrul Ehsan will take care of the team in the first one-dayer of the three-match series against India A, which will take place at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore.
Chief selector Faruque Ahmed is also accompanying the team as manager.
The second and third one-dayers will take place at the same venue on September 18 and 20.
They will then play two three-dayers in Mysore and Bangalore against Ranji trophy champions Karnataka and India A respectively.
