Excited Liton joins KKR camp
Bangladesh's stylish wicketkeeper-batter Liton Das joined his side Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) today to take part in his maiden Indian Premier League (IPL) campaign.
KKR's official Facebook page posted pictures of Liton on Monday with the caption reading: "Pouche geche Litton Da!" ( Liton has arrived).
The dashing wicketkeeper-batter was excited before boarding the flight to Kolkata. Liton said that he was looking forward to gain the experience.
KKR have won two out of the three matches they've played so far in the ongoing 16th edition of the money-spinning league, and Liton is set to join an upbeat side led by Nitish Rana.
Liton, who will be available for selection in KKR's next game on April 14 against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, will, however, face competition for a place in the eleven, with Afghanistan's wicketkeeper-batter Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Jason Roy already in the squad.
"I don't know whether I'll play or not. It's a learning process. I have never been a part of such an event like this before; this is my first time and obviously, it's a good feeling," Liton told the media before boarding his flight yesterday.
