S Bima beat Azad

Shadharan Bima notched up a 3-0 win over Azad Sporting Club in their Green Delta Insurance Premier Division Hockey League match at the Maulna Bhasani National Hockey Stadium yesterday.
Golam Hafiz Rabbani gave Shadharan Bima a 6th minute lead before Mohammad Rafi doubled the margin in the 25th minute. Abdus Sajjad John scored a third in the 35 th minute as Shadharan Bima took sealed off the fate of the match in the first half. The win lifted Shadharan Bima to third position of the seven-team table with six points from four matches, six behind joint leaders Abahani and Usha KC while Azad SC were at the bottom with one point from four matches.
League leaders Abahani will take on Sonali Bank in today's lone match. The match will begin at 3pm at the same venue.
