Road crashes kill four

Four people were killed and seven others injured in four districts yesterday.

Our Sylhet correspondent reports, truck driver Alal Mia, 28, of Habiganj Sadar died and his two helpers were injured in a head-on collision between two trucks on Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Rashidpur bazar mosque area under Dakshin Surma Police Station.

Our Kishoreganj correspondent reports, Shafiqul Islam, 45, of Karimganj village died when a motorcycle hit his bicycle in Jongolbari area of the village.

Our Natore correspondent reports, Omar Ali, 50, of village Karchmaria died and two people were injured when a battery-run auto-rickshaw and a motorcycle collided head-on on Chaugram-Kaliganj road in Chatarbaria area of Singra.

Our Dinajpur correspondent adds Bokul Hossain Chowdhury, 35, of Krishnopur village died and three people were injured when two motorcycles collided head-on at Nitaisahapur village in Ghoraghat upazila.
