Beetles team of DU IBA, champion in Battle of Minds 2019 competition

‘The Beetles,’ a team of students from Dhaka University's Institute of Business Administration (IBA) have clinched the title of championship in the 16th edition of ‘Battle of Minds-19'.

'Now You See Us', a team from Bangladesh University of Professionals’ (BUP) and ‘three Horsemen,’ another team from DU IBA became first and the second runners-up respectively.

British American Tobacco Bangladesh (BAT Bangladesh) orgainsed the competition where around 4,000 students from different universities across the country took part.

BAT Bangaldesh has been organising the competition for the last 16 years. 

Md Sohrab Hossain, senior secretary of the Ministry of Education inaugurated the grand finale as chief guest held on Wednesday evening at a hotel in the capital.

While addressing the event, Sohrab said, “The government is working relentlessly to develop skilled workforce in the country.”

He urged other organisations like BAT Bangladesh to come forward with such good initiatives for the sustainable development of the country.

Commenting on the event, Managing Director of BAT Bangladesh Shehzad Munim said, “Battle of Minds creates an opportunity for students to unbox their talents and ideas which will help them to contribute in the country’s development.”
