Obituary
Main Uddin Khandaker, a freedom fighter and a member of Bangladesh Public Service Commission, died from heart ailments at the capital's United Hospital last night, aged 60.
He left behind his two daughters and a son, according to the BPSC website.
Khandaker's namaz-e-janaza will be held at the city's Circuit House Jame Mosque at 9:00am today, Ekram Ahmed, chairman of BPSC, told The Daily Star.
He will be buried at his village home in Narsingdi, he added.
