‘570’ will depict the aftermath of Bangabandhu’s assassination
Directed by Ashraf Shishir, the upcoming film 570 will be based on the brutal assasination of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and his family members. The mahurat of the film was arranged recently at a restaurant in Dhaka. The movie is produced by Cinebuzz Films.
570 will highlight the immediate aftermath of the brutal incidents of August 15, 1975.
"The story will revolve around the 36 hours after the killings, according to the information and testimony from the Bangabandhu assassination case in 1996," says the director.
"The audience will see me in a different avatar in this unique film," shares Bappy Chowdhury, who will feature in the film. "It is an honour for me to be a part of it."
Actors Masum Aziz, Shadhin Khosru, Sumona Shoma, Kazi Raju, Elina Shammi, Shansi Farukh and Dukhu Sumon will also be seen in prominent roles.
The shooting of the film started at Hotapara, Gazipur, recently. The film is expected to release on March 17, 2021, marking the Father of the Nation's 101st birth anniversary.
