Abul Hayat makes Diary '71

Marking Victory Day, veteran thespian Abul Hayat has made a single-episode TV play for ATN Bangla, titled “Diary '71”. Casting Tauquir Ahmed, Tarin Ahmed and Khairul Anam Sabuj, the drama will air on December 16 at 8:45pm.

The plot of the drama revolves around a diary, which belongs to an elderly ailing person, Sadek. One day a letter comes to him asking for the diary, which he sends to a village to a woman named Rashida, through his daughter Dolon. When Dolon reaches the village, Rashida dies that very day, but not before giving the diary to Dolon to read. The diary reveals happenings of 1971 during the Liberation War, and Dolon's world comes crumbling down in front of him.
