Man killed by sister

A man was killed allegedly by his sister in Tengrakhali (Hazrapara) village under Kachua upazila on Monday.

The victim was Fakir Abdul Aziz Codo, 50, son of Akteruddin Fakir of the village.

Aziz's sister Khushi Begum beat his daughter over a family dispute on Monday night. As Aziz asked why she beat his daughter, she hit him on the head with a stick, leaving him unconscious, said Kachua Police Station OC Rabiul Kabir, quoting locals.

Neighbours took Aziz to Kachua Upazila Health Complex, where the duty doctor declared him dead, he added.

They are trying to arrest the killer, the OC said.
