Youth held with hemp in Ctg

Detectives of Chittagong Metropolitan Police (CMP) arrested a youth with 30 kilograms of hemp in his possession from Chittagong Railway Station area yesterday.

The arrestee is Md Kabir Hossen, 19, son of Abdul Kader, hailing from Keraniganj, on the outskirts of Dhaka.

Inspector Habibur Rahman of Detective Branch (DB), said tipped off a team raided a place near Railway Station area and arrested Kabir with 30 Kg of hemp.

He was handed over to Kotwali Police Station and a case was lodged in this regard, he added.
