We won't leave till demand is met
The teachers and employees of MPO-enlisted academic institutions yesterday said they will not move from Jatiya Press Club unless the prime minister declares all private secondary and higher secondary educational institutions nationalised.
The demonstrators continued their hunger strike on the spot for the fourth consecutive day.
Meanwhile, they said they do not want that the classes are hampered due to their hunger strike ahead of upcoming examinations.
Classes are being held at their schools and colleges, they said.
The protesters said they continued the demonstration by turns. When a section of teachers comes to the press club venue, another section teaches the students, they said.
