Cabinet approves Tk 401cr against seven proposals
The cabinet committee on purchase yesterday approved Tk 401 crore under seven proposals, including the ones for gas pipelines for importing liquefied natural gas (LNG).
The committee's meeting was held at the cabinet division yesterday with Finance Minister AMA Muhith in the chair.
Three proposals were related to LNG, one for setting up a 1,200mmcfd transfer metering station at a cost of Tk 61 crore.
Another two proposals are for installation of gas pipelines at Maheshkhali in Cox's Bazar and Anwara in Chittagong at a cost of Tk 217 crore.
The committee also approved Tk 120 crore for supplying medicine to 13,500 community clinics.
