Mohsin Ali's condition 'improving' in Singapore
The condition of Social Welfare Minister Syed Mohsin Ali, now undergoing treatment at Mount Elizabeth Hospital in Singapore, is gradually improving, said Maidul Islam, public relations officer (PRO) of the ministry.
The minister was taken to Singapore in an air ambulance as his condition deteriorated yesterday, added the PRO.
He was diagnosed with pneumonia on Thursday morning and was put on life support at the Birdem Hospital.
The 67-year-old minister also has diabetes and heart issues. Earlier, he had undergone a bypass surgery.
His wife and daughter are with him.
