No blockade on Friday, Saturday

The BNP-led 18-party opposition combine postponed its countrywide indefinite blockade of rail, roads and waterways for Friday and Saturday.
The blockade, however, will resume on Sunday and continue till further decision, Osman Faruq, an adviser to BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, today announced in a video message.
The opposition alliance enforced the indefinite blockade from January 1, demanding cancellation of January 5 parliamentary polls results, release of its leaders and protesting killing of opposition men on the polling day.
