Three BCL men hurt in factional clash

Three activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League were injured in a factional clash allegedly over teasing a fellow activist's girlfriend in the capital's Suhrawardy Udyan yesterday afternoon.
The clash took place between those loyal to Zakir, joint convener of Shahbagh unit of BCL, and supporters of GM Ehtesham, general secretary of Jasimuddin Hall (of Dhaka University) unit of BCL, sources said.
Witnesses said the clash occurred after Zakir along with his friends teased the girlfriend of one of Ehtesham's supporters.
Zakir, however, denied teasing the girlfriend.
