Stocks up

The prices of the most shares on the country’s premier bourse clambered on Thursday, the last trading day of the week.

DSEX, the benchmark general index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), rose 7 points to reach 4,013 points at closing of the day's trading.

Of the issues traded, 177 advanced, 97 declined and 17 remained unchanged.

A total of 90,248 trades were executed with Tk 303 crore changing hands.

On Wednesday, the trading at DSE reached 4005 points after decreasing 24 points.
