Stocks continue losing streak

The prices of the most shares on the country's premier bourse dipped on Monday, to continue a losing streak of the previous day.

DSEX, the benchmark general index of the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), came down 7 points to reach 3,763 points at closing of the day's trading.

Of the issues traded, 166 advanced, 95 declined and 22 remained unchanged.

A total of 59,047 trades were executed with Tk 167 crore changing hands.

On Sunday, the trading at DSE reached 3,771 points after decreasing 71 points.
