Two held with ammunition in Ctg

Police arrested two men with 300 bullets of .22 bore-rifle and 100 shotgun cartridges at GEC intersection of Chittagong city yesterday morning.
They are Anwar Hossain, 28, and Abul Hossain, 30, of Noakhali.
On suspicion, a patrol team of Chawkbazar police searched the duo and recovered the ammunition from their bag around 5:45am.
Infant stolen from RMCH

A two-day-old girl was stolen from Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) on Friday night.
The infant was undergoing treatment at ward no-27 while her mother Rojina Khatun, wife of Tofazzal Hossain of Bagmara upazila, was at ward no-22, said RMCH police.
Quoting the family, police said Rojina's mother gave the baby to a woman, who used to work there as a cleaner, for carrying her to her mother around 8:00pm but she fled with the baby.
The hospital sources said they thought that the woman was a relative of a patient.
Road crash kills one

A person was killed and three others injured in a road accident at Borundi in Saturia upazila in Manikganj yesterday.
The deceased was Minhaj Uddin, 23, of Kotwali upazila in Mymensingh.
The accident occurred when a coal-laden truck carrying them veered out of control and fell into a roadside ditch, said police.
