Mindset about women needs change
Any woman above thirty years, who applies for a job, knows how eyebrows are raised and questions are hurled about her marital status. Why, despite our education, is it that we still consider marriage as the ultimate yardstick of a woman's identity and achievement in life? Are we really changing our mentality as a nation or are we still as deeply rooted as before in our traditional ways of finding a man for a girl as soon as they come of age?
