Int'l Botanical Confce ends

The International Botanical Conference organised by Bangladesh Botanical Society concluded in TSC auditorium of Dhaka University yesterday.

Minister Haroon-or-Rashid Khan Monnu addressed the concluding ceremony of the three-day conference as the chief guest, with society President Prof Arshad Ali in the chair.

Managing Director of Hamdard Laboratories (Bangladesh) Hakim Mohammad Rafiqul Islam and society Secretary Prof M A Bashar also spoke on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Monnu urged the botanists to work to ensure ecological balance on earth.
