CU asstt proctor submit resignation

CHITTAGONG, Jan 26: One of the assistant proctor of Chittagong University (CU) submitted resignation to the authorities last night.

The reason behind the resignation of Didarul Alam could not be known.

Meanwhile, four bombs exploded in front of the Vice-Chancellor's residence in the city at around 9.30 pm Tuesday. It was alleged that Islami Chhatra Shibir activists made the bomb attack. However, no casualty was reported.

Shibir terrorists also gave a threat of death to Proctor Gazi Saleh Uddin.
