CATS EYE'S take on Boishakh
Cats Eye has been a huge name in fashion for years and has grown a very loyal customer base. Almost three decades in the making, it is an attitude towards fashion that bends and breaks rules. After three electric fashion brands and 30 outlets, the empire continues to conquer.
A manufacturing facility on the cutting edge of fashion technology, it has a production capacity of 2500 units a day. Cats Eye now employs 700 dedicated individuals who make the stylish moves behind the scenes.
The iconic fashion house stays true to its roots to this day. It aligns all processes to a firm conviction -- to deliver fashionable attires that are of the highest quality.
The brand is known for its western designs and mainly works along that line. This time around Cats Eye has brought out their collection for Boishakh and the male shopaholics out there will be pleased to know that it is all about them. Since Cats Eye's product line is somewhat western-centric, this collection is solely for men as they feel that western wear for women on Boishakh is not a popular concept.
The Boishakhi collection boasts a variety of panjabis in 100 per cent cotton and other self-printed fabrics. Different combinations of screen print and embroidery have been used to embellish the panjabis. With the main colour theme of the collection being white and red, the designers have used contrasting self-printed materials on the chest, sleeves or collar for some of the panjabis.

Keeping in mind that a lot of people nowadays prefer to purchase and wear clothes that are not in the traditional Boishakhi colours since this limits the occasions and places they can be worn to, Cats Eye has included panjabis in a number of colours that are fit to don on other occasions. Short and long panjabis can both be seen at the store's display. Cats Eye has played with the designs of short panjabis giving them a slightly western appeal by adding straps to the sleeves, making them foldable like shirt sleeves. Additionally they have used prints under the cuffs with a matching, printed collar band which can be seen when folded.
The Boishakh collection is already out in the stores, so drop by any of the Cats Eye outlets to pick up your Boishakh ensemble this season.
