Argentina to open embassy in Dhaka on Feb 27

Argentine Foreign Minister Santiago Cafiero is scheduled to inaugurate the country's embassy in Bangladesh on February 27 during his visit to Dhaka.

Santiago Cafiero confirmed the matter to Sadia Faizunnesa, the ambassador of Bangladesh to Brazil, during her recent visit to the Argentine foreign minister's office.

Argentina may open embassy in Dhaka next month

Sadia Faizunnesa is also concurrently accredited to Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay and Chile.

Argentina's ministry of foreign affairs, international trade and worship, issued a press release on Monday in this regard.

The Argentine foreign minister in a tweet also stated that his visit would include an agenda of trade and investment promotion with businessmen from both the countries.
