Shafiqul Islam

The Dhaka Metropolitan Police today appointed Md Shafiqul Islam as an additional police commissioner and the chief of its Detective Branch.

The appointment was made in an order signed by DMP Commissioner Sheikh Md Sajjat Ali.

Shafiqul is a member of the 18th BCS batch. Previously, he served as DIG in the Highway Police.
