Man found dead on Dhaka-Mawa Expressway

The body of a man was found at the Dogachi area near the Padma Bridge (North) Police Station on the Dhaka-Mawa Expressway in Munshiganj this morning.

The deceased was identified as Tahsin Mahmud Rifat, 25, from Bethua village in Dohar, Dhaka, confirmed Abdul Karim, assistant sub-inspector Of Hasara Highway Police.

He said, "A staff member of a passenger bus saw him lying dead in the lane going towards Padma Bridge and informed the police."

The police arrived and took the body to the station. The cause of the death is still unknown and legal action is underway in this matter, added police.
