“American Hustle” trailer released

A new trailer has arrived for David O. Russell's “American Hustle”, a glamorous retelling of the Abscam sting operation designed to expose political corruption in the 1970s.
Christian Bale heads up the film as slippery conman Irving Rosenfeld, who teams up with Bradley Cooper's FBI agent in an attempt to bring down Jeremy Renner's crooked Democrat.
Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams are also along for the ride to complete what looks to be an intoxicating ensemble.
As well as the incredible cast, the '70s feels is pleasingly pronounced here, while Bale appears to have gone to typically extreme lengths to get himself "in shape" for his latest role.
Directed by Russell and co-starring Louis C.K., Michael Peña and Jack Jones, “American Hustle” will open in the UK on December 20, 2013.
