Conjoined twins born in Rangpur

A mother gave birth to two conjoined babies, sharing a single body, at a local clinic in the town through caesarean surgery on Wednesday.
Moyna Begum and Helal Mia of Alamnagar area in Rangpur are parents of the twins.
Dr. Farida Khanom, gynecologist of Rangpur Medical College Hospital (RMCH) conducted the surgery at Rose Clinic after sensing presence of conjoined babies through ultra-sonogram.
As critical in nature, the newly born twins were sent to Child Surgery Ward under RMCH, said Dr. Farida.
Mother and babies are safe till filing this report yesterday evening.
