Sahara not aware of Taj act

Home Minister Sahara Khatun said she was unaware of the resignation of her deputy Tanjim Ahmed Sohel Taj, contradicting her claim that she maintained communication with the ministry over phone during her treatment in Singapore.
Sahara told this to the press at Zia International Airport on her return home at 11:45pm Tuesday. She said she only knew that the state minister had gone abroad on leave.
The home minister left for Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore on July 1 following a waist injury as she slipped over in her official residence washroom June 29.
After her treatment at Trauma Centre in the city Sahara was taken to Singapore where she had to undergo a surgery.
