Meanwhile, the power connection of the mill was disconnected on Thursday for non-payment of outstanding electricity bills of Tk 9 lakh.
The layoff period of Mohsin Jute Mills has been extended for the fourth time.
The mill authorities first announced the layoff on March 7 for various reasons, including crisis of raw jute and money. Later, the layoff was extended thrice.
