The government plans to build government playgrounds in all upazilas, the Parliament was informed on Thursday.
Replying to a question from M Abu Jaher (Habiganj-3), State Minister for Youth and Sports Ahad Ali Sarkar said the government has a plan to build playground in those upazilas where there is no government playground.
“These playgrounds will be constructed under the 'Playground Development and Expansion at Upazila Level' project,” he said.

The DC Gold Cup Football Tournament will kick off today at the Gaibandha Stadium.
Joypurhat meet Kurigram in the inaugural match of the tournament.

Ujjibito Jubo Sangha defeated Chhoto Nala Adharsha Club by six wickets in the first Teletalk cricket tournament at the Khagrachari Government High School ground yesterday.
Chhoto Nala Adharsha Club were all out for 127 runs in 24 overs with Sumon Chakma making highest 19.
Mohammad Naser picked three wickets for 20 runs.
In reply, Ujjibito Jubo Sangha reached the target with 130 runs for four wickets in 12.4 overs with Naser making 38 runs.
Promesh Tripura two wickets for 19 runs.
Mohammad Naser was adjudged man of the match for his all-round performance.
In the day's other match, Young Star Club managed three-wicket victory over Monpura Victoria Club.
Monpura Victoria Club scored 131 runs in 28.4 overs with Rubel scoring 27.
Jhon Chakma and Nirupom Chakma picked up three wickets each.
In reply, Young Star Club made 133 for seven wickets in 24.5 overs. Jhon Chakma hit 31.
Bablu and Rana captured two wickets each. Jhon Chakma was adjudged man of the match.
