Krishna talks regional situation with Bhutan

On his maiden foreign visit after taking over as External Affairs Minister, S M Krishna today held wide-ranging talks with Bhutanese King Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and other leaders, discussing bilateral ties and regional matters, including the security situation in Nepal.
Briefing reporters on issues that figured during the meetings, Foreign Secretary Shivshankar Menon said that besides talking about the ways of strengthening bilateral ties, the two sides also reviewed the situation in the region.
