NSC approves zila stadiums to DFA
The National Sports Council (NSC) has approved the use of Zila Stadiums by their respective District Football Associations (DFA) for 3-4 months a year during the football season.
A letter conveying this message reached the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) yesterday from NSC.
BFF president Kazi Salahuddin once again proves his mettle as the football boss of the country as he had been pursuing the allotment of grounds to DFA'S from day one of his tenure.
"I have been pursuing this and following up ever since I took office and it comes as a great news for the country's football as district teams will now have their own playground and as well as permanent office rooms,' reacted Salahuddin.
Along with the usage of the Zila Stadiums, NSC will allow DFA's to maintain an office on the stadium premises comprising of 2-3 rooms. NSC is also currently working on a decision on the annual disbursement of funds to DFA's.
Meanwhile, the DFA's have been instructed to submit their plan regarding the timing of their football leagues and undertake necessary preparations to complete the office.
