Cancellation of fee hike at DU demanded

The leaders and activists of JSD Bangladesh Chhatra League of Dhaka University (DU) unit yesterday took out a procession on the campus demanding cancellation of the increased fees in all departments, says a press release.
They also held a rally at the foot of Aparajeyo Bangla to press home their demand.
The speakers at the rally demanded immediate solutions to the accommodation and transport problems facing the students.
They also urged the authorities to hold Dhaka University Central Students Union (Ducsu) and Hall Sangsad elections.
Vice President of the unit Saddam Hossain, General Secretary of the unit Shahidul Islam Jani, Fahim Khan, Shahjahan Ali Raju and Jagadish Chandra Shaha, among others, spoke at the rally.
