Books for underprivileged children

Agrani Bank Limited distributed books among the underprivileged children of local community at Noorunnahar Fyzennessa Kishalay Free School at Dhamrai in Dhaka on May 17, says a press release.
Daughter of Noorunnahar poet Nazia Jabeen, her younger brother Syed Zia Arustu, teachers and students of the school were present at the programme.
Distributing the books, General Manager of the bank Md Obayed Ullah Al-Masud appreciated the school authorities for their effort which will encourage the children to do something for the betterment of the country.
Nazia said there is an arrangement for cost-free education for the underprivileged students who are the children of local snake charmers, fishermen and landless farmers in memory of Noorunnahar who the former provost of Begum Rokeya Hall at Dhaka University.
