Earlier, at a discussion the speakers said, currently there are around three crore unemployed youths in the country. The present government should take necessary steps to engage them in the development activities nationwide. Better policies for the youths, constituting one third of the total population, should be implemented.
The youths, the vital force of the nation, have always been at the forefront during our struggle for freedom, democracy and a balanced society free from exploitation and deprivation, said the speakers. But in most cases they are neglected and proper measures have not been taken by the state to absorb them into national development. The problems prevailing with the youths should be identified and addressed as early as possible for the welfare of the state, they added.
