Electricity first
If we construct underground train in Dhaka city it would cost us millions of dollars of foreign loan.
How would we run the underground train in the midst of load shedding and frequent electricity failure? The million dollars project would fail and the country would incur colossal financial loss.
We wonder what is the need for construction of underground train and Padma bridge now when we are beset with tremendous financial hardships and a great economic crisis and the sufferings of the people know no bounds due to load shedding and frequent electricity failure.
Let us go forward step by step. Slow but steady wins the race.
Let us alleviate the sufferings of the people on account of power shortage first, and then go for construction of Padma bridge and underground train.
