Cheating in exam: 3 held

Police yesterday arrested three people including a degree (pass) examinee of Pirganj Shah Abdur Rouf Degree College in Pirganj upazila on charge of cheating in examination.
The arrestees are degree examinee Noor-un-Nabi Miah, sweeper Sunil Chandra and script writer Aminul Islam.
Hall superintendent Belayet Hossain caught Sunil red-handed while he was bringing back the answer script of Nabi, police said. On interrogation, Sunil admitted to have supplied the answer script of Nabi along with a question paper outside the hall. He said that he had handed over the answer script to Aminul Islam who later wrote answers to several questions on it at a nearby house. After two hours, when Sunil was bringing back the answer script to the examinee, the hall super caught him red-handed, police said. According to his confession, police caught script writer Aminul from a nearby house.
Contacted, Principal Rashed-un-Nabi said the arrestees were handed over to Pirganj police.
