BLEAK FUTURE

10-year-old Rakib became mentally and physically challenged as a result of some "bad fever" at infancy. His mother sells rice to rickshaw pullers on Dhaka University campus for a living. Having none to baby-sit for her, she ties Rakib to a wheel so that he does not get lost or run over by a vehicle while she is not around.
