BSF returns 6 Bangladeshi boys, girls
Six Bangladeshi adolescent boys and girls returned to Bangladesh yesterday after they had spent a long time in Indian jail.
Border Security Force (BSF) have handed the girls over to Bangladeshi authorities in the evening.
Officials of Bangladesh Rifles, police and Bangladesh National Women Lawyers' Association (BNWLA) were present during the handover.
The returnees were identified as Sufia Khatun, Monwara Khatun, Jashimuddin, Milon Hossain, Rasheda Khatun, Tasmina Khatun. They hailed from Jessore and Dinajpur.
The boys and girls are now under the protection of BNWLA who would later help them reunite with their families.
