Another Jamaat man held in Thakurgaon

Another Jamaat activist was held at Birgarh Model Primary School under Haripur upazila yesterday for attempt to sell a controversial book.
Police and locals said Abdullah, headmaster of Dangipara Bhangamoni Primary School who came to Birgarh school to train the primary teachers was trying to sell among them a book “Jamaat ebong Jammat nettritter biruddhey juddhaporadher obhijog mittha uddasha pronodita” published by Jamaat-e-Islami.
The trainees protested the matter and brought Abdullah to Haripur Upazila Education Office.
Later Upazila Education Officer Anjuman Banu informed police. Police rushed to the spot and arrested him.
On Monday, two Jamaat activists Shujan and his father Zahedul were held at Thakurgaon Collegepara for selling the same book.
